Editorial Policy

ATL Local Insider publishes research-based relocation and housing decision-support content about Metro Atlanta and Georgia. This policy explains how content is researched, reviewed, corrected, and kept independent from advertising or commercial relationships.

Our Research Mission

Our goal is to help readers make better-informed relocation decisions by turning scattered local information into practical comparisons, cost models, address-level checks, and decision frameworks. Because the site is operated from South Korea, we do not present desk research as first-hand neighborhood experience.

Our full process is documented in the Research Methodology.

Topics We Cover

Source-to-Claim Standard

Material factual claims should be aligned with the source responsible for the underlying rule, record, fee, boundary, or procedure whenever practical.

Secondary sources may be used for context, but they should not override a more authoritative responsible source without a clear reason.

Fact, Estimate, and Unknown

We distinguish among verified facts, planning estimates, and unresolved items. Estimates are not presented as universal facts, and unresolved address-specific or transaction-specific questions should remain visible until confirmed.

Address-Level Verification Standard

A city or neighborhood label may not determine school assignment, property tax exposure, HOA obligations, utility provider, service boundary, or commute pattern. For important housing and relocation decisions, we therefore encourage exact-address verification.

Pre-Publication Review

Before publication or a material update, content is reviewed for source alignment, date sensitivity, address dependence, visible calculation assumptions, unresolved conflicts, and whether professional confirmation is required before a reader acts.

Content published under the ATL Insider research profile remains the responsibility of that profile. Digital tools can assist the workflow, but they do not assume responsibility for the final content.

Use of Digital and AI-Assisted Tools

We may use digital and AI-assisted tools for research organization, comparison, drafting support, editing, formatting, grammar review, calculation checks, or content structure.

A statement generated by a tool is not treated as verified merely because a tool produced it. Material claims still need to be evaluated against the responsible source, while calculations and scenarios remain dependent on their inputs and assumptions.

Accuracy and Updates

We make reasonable efforts to publish accurate and useful information, but school boundaries, taxes, utility fees, government procedures, transportation services, insurance conditions, HOA rules, housing markets, and other local facts can change.

Articles may be updated when responsible sources change, a factual error is identified, a link breaks, a fee or boundary changes, or a clearer evidence-based explanation becomes available.

Corrections Policy

We welcome correction requests supported by current official, direct, or property-specific evidence. To request review, please include the article title or URL, the specific claim, and the source that supports the correction through our Contact Us page.

Correction decisions are evidence-led. A request from an advertiser, affiliate partner, business, community, developer, service provider, or other interested party does not by itself justify changing a conclusion.

Research Independence

ATL Local Insider is an independent research-based website. Advertising, affiliate relationships, sponsored placements, or third-party services do not determine our research conclusions, comparison order, or correction decisions.

When a sponsorship, affiliate relationship, referral relationship, or other material commercial connection applies to specific content, it should be disclosed where relevant.

External Links

Articles may link to government agencies, school districts, utility providers, transportation agencies, community organizations, businesses, or other third-party resources. A link is provided for research and verification convenience and does not transfer responsibility for the external site’s accuracy, availability, or policies to ATL Local Insider.

No Professional Advice

ATL Local Insider provides general educational and research information. It should not be treated as legal, tax, financial, real-estate, mortgage, lending, appraisal, engineering, inspection, insurance, investment, or school-placement advice. Readers should verify important decisions with the responsible agency and the appropriate qualified or licensed professional.

Reader Feedback and Evidence Submissions

Readers, agencies, districts, HOAs, service providers, and other organizations may submit updated public or official evidence for review. We welcome evidence that helps correct outdated links, changed fees, revised boundaries, amended procedures, or other material facts.
